Terms of Use

These terms are an agreement between you and Acerra Security (“we”, “us”), which operates SuperChurn at superchurn.com, including the bonus tracker and the free calculators (together, the “service”). By creating an account or using the service, you agree to them. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the service.

What SuperChurn is, and isn’t

SuperChurn is an organizational tool for keeping track of bank and credit card bonuses. It is not a bank, lender, card issuer, broker, or financial, tax, legal, or credit advisor, and nothing in the service is advice or a recommendation to open, keep, or close any account.

  • Offer details in the catalog are summaries that can be incomplete, out of date, or wrong. Banks and issuers change and end offers without notice. Always read and rely on the institution’s own terms before you apply.
  • Deadlines, dates, and amounts are calculated from what you and the catalog provide. The bank or issuer’s own records decide whether you qualify for a bonus, and when.
  • The Chase 5/24 count is an estimate from your own records. It isn’t an approval prediction, and issuers make their own decisions.
  • Calculator results, including tax estimates, are estimates from what you enter.

You’re responsible for your own applications, accounts, and financial decisions, including checking your eligibility and paying any taxes on bonuses.

Your account

  • You must be at least 18 and able to form a binding contract to create an account.
  • Keep your password secure, and tell us at support@superchurn.com if you think someone else has used your account.
  • Use an email address you control; we use it to sign you in and to reach you about your account.

Your content

What you enter (your tracked bonuses, dates, notes, and card list) stays yours. You give us permission to store and process it only to run the service for you, as described in our Privacy Policy. Don’t enter bank logins, account or card numbers, or Social Security numbers.

Acceptable use

Don’t misuse the service. In particular, don’t:

  • try to access other people’s data, or probe, attack, or overload the service;
  • scrape or copy the catalog in bulk, or resell the service;
  • use the service for anything unlawful, including fraud or misleading banks or issuers.

We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms.

Links and affiliate relationships

The service links to banks, card issuers, and other sites we don’t control, and some of those links are affiliate links that may earn us a commission (see the advertiser disclosure). Your dealings with those sites are between you and them, under their terms.

The service itself

SuperChurn is at an early (alpha) stage and free to use. We may change, add, or remove features, and we may change or end the service. If we plan to shut it down, we’ll give you notice and a chance to export your data. SuperChurn’s name, design, software, and catalog content belong to us; these terms don’t give you rights to them beyond using the service.

Disclaimers

The service is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the fullest extent the law allows, we make no warranties, express or implied, including that the service or its information will be accurate, complete, uninterrupted, or error-free, or fit for a particular purpose.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost bonuses, fees, interest, or other financial losses, arising from your use of the service or your reliance on its information. Our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim or US$50. Some places don’t allow these limits, so they may not all apply to you.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Oregon, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute relating to the service will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Oregon, and you and we consent to their jurisdiction, unless the law where you live gives you the right to bring a claim elsewhere.

Ending your use

You can stop using the service at any time and ask us to delete your account by emailing support@superchurn.com. Sections that by their nature should survive (such as the disclaimers and limits of liability) continue after your account ends.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. We’ll change the date above and tell signed-in users about significant changes before they take effect. Continuing to use the service after that means you accept the updated terms.
